G Dragon, the KPOP fashion icon.

In summer 2012 there was a huge frenzy over one particular song, wherever you go people were either biting their tongues to sing the song or performing the famous horse dance. All I know is that before the song became Mainstream I was already worn out from hearing it, but that's far from what I am about to talk about, but bare in mind this song Gangnam Style by the one and only Psy paved the way for KPOP.
With everyone's eyes now focused on South Korea and their catch music and awesome fashion style it's a wonder, who will be the next big thing?
Meet G Dragon, an all round entertainer who is the leader and member of  KPOP boy band Big Bang (in KPOP  they have leaders in each groups someone to lead by example make the official decisions in the group and so on) who is also in the same agency as Psy called YG Entertainment. I could go on writing all day about everything this young man has accomplished  but we would be here for a while ( I may write a post about him soon)

This post is about this man's fashion style being widely recognized by literally everyone who is anyone in the Fashion Industry, well known fashion Models like Barbara Palvin and Cara Delevingne want to party with him, his been to most of the major fashion shows and was spotted attending the recent Paris fashion week 2014 a couple weeks ago.
One word I could use to describe him would probably be...water
Why? because he just goes with the flow, he's not afraid of trying new things putting himself out there because he knows there are two ways people could view his unique style.. negatively or positively.

His eccentric fashion style makes him shine in his own unique color, there's actually no way to describe him whilst some people are afraid of challenges and trying new things he seems to break that mold and push the boundaries stepping on the equilibrium, saying without trying new things you wouldn't be able to find out what you like/don't like, what looks good on you and what doesn't.
From what I have observed in the past couple of years G Dragon loves to challenge himself,  he enjoys experiencing the good  feeling of life wearing different outfits changing his hair style and loves wearing clothes that makes him fell good and comfortable, and he seems not to care if it is expensive or not as long as he likes it.

To conclude this immaculate post of  compliments to G Dragon, I just wanted to express my happiness by thanking him on becoming a singer/song writer/leader/fashion icon/producer/model/Idol (honestly what else can't he do) he is truly my role model and a serious fashion statement and truly a humble man that enjoys living everyday as it comes even with all the history he has been through his fans still stick by him and he loves, honors and respects them which is what makes me stop and think...this guy is truly an honorable man, no matter what life throws at him he still smiles.

KPOP: Top 5 male artist's songs (of 2013) so far...

Funnily enough, this wasn't going to be posted seeing as I have rather a huge amount of male artists that I enjoy listening to and trust me it was a difficult process of picking my favourite songs, I sat at my local coffee shop for a good 45 minutes just thinking about who to pick taking and removing people out of my list...I know I know, I should have made the list longer but I didn't want to make you guys spend your whole day just reading and reading so it became Top 5.. so without further ado enjoy!

Zion T feat. Gaeko - Babay
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84m-0uO39SY

Okay let me just start by saying that this song is just pure genius,  it should be number one on my list (but it isn't meaning my list options are really good) I can't stop listening to it, the lyrics, I suddenly find myself being catapulted through time to a stylish late 90s when RnB was just simply amazing. The music video is so sleek, colourful and let's not forget hilarious, the combination of Gaeko's mysterious yet irresistible rap and Zion's creamy (the only word I can find to describe it) voice equals a song worth nodding your head to on your train/car/bus journey.

Bumkey feat. Dynamic Duo - Attraction
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeVmk6SAMvA

Let me start by saying that when I first saw the picture above of Mr Bumkey the first thought that popped into my head was "is this bad boy looking dude a rapper or a singer?"
honestly speaking if it wasn't for this song I wouldn't have fallen head over heels with his beautiful RnB voice, and correct me if I am wrong but he is actually quite charming in the music video. I mean all he wants to do is spend some "alone time" with is girl who happens to be the cute yet classy Ellin from Crayon pop! but it doesn't go as he planned thanks to his meddling friends.
For some reason I wouldn't have chosen her as the leading lady for such a sexy song because of her cute and quirky image as a singer in crayon pop, but oddly enough she pulls off the sexy image naturally and they actually suit.

Junsu (Xia) feat. Quincy - Incredible
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8ekpLae-64

Where do I start with this man that God blessed us with? it's no joke that this man is seriously talented, words can't describe how much I respect his music and how much effort he puts in to everything he does, despite the lack of promotional activities he does he still manages to stay on top of music charts well even though summer is over I still have to say this was and is my favourite summer song of 2013 Hands down!
the music video is fun, creative and alive bursting with colours it feels like he wanted to give his fans a message saying "don't worry about yesterday's pain, just let loose and go have crazy fun"
I can't tell you how much this song brightens up my day, it gets me up and dancing when I'm having a hard time and puts a smile on my face.

Kim Hyun Joong feat. Jay park - Unbreakable
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkYBPz4jENA

As I type this right now I'm not going to lie to you, my eyes are currently fixed on this man I won't even apologize for typing nuisance words like banana for no apparent reason, Why? because I know most of you are probably drooling over his picture instead of reading this! but you are forgiven..
where was I... ah yes! Kim Hyun Joong, talented artist singer, song writer, model, actor seriously what hasn't he done? (apart from serenading me of course) this song talks about how he is back stronger than ever and he is unbreakable, plus a little collaborative help from my future husband (in my dreams) Jay park this song became fluid and mature as expected from our Hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong.

Jay park - I like to party
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpkHmgnWx_U

Finally we are here! my ultimate No 1, I don't know about you but every time I hear this song I seriously want to jump on my bed and start dancing like crazy but thanks to my neighbours who keep complaining of the loud music I just have to quietly tap my feet...pushing that aside "I like 2 party" is just a fun and light song to get your groove on.
Honestly I couldn't be happier for Mr Park, he is free to express himself musically and it shows just how much love he has for music and also for his fans I mean I don't see any other idols that has their fandom's name (Jaywalkerz) tattooed on them, just goes to show how thankful he is towards his fans.

Bonus
G Dragon - Coup D'état
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8T6771Sdj8

Well of course GD is going to be on the list, who else did you think was going to be the MVP of this list apart from the talented, singer songwriter, trendsetter that is Big bang's GD.
I mean no list is complete without him and everyone knows that, now the reason why I like Coup D'etat is simply put in two words: beautifully artistic.
I mean it has so much meaning hidden within the MV, people who know about KPOP know about the trials and tribulations that this young man has been through in the past and I think he channelled all the negative and positive criticism he received into this MV by doing what he does best.. being creative.

So there you have it, my top 5 and bonus of this year so far I should have done a top 10 but then I would have wanted to do a top 20 or more but I don't people would read that much without getting bored. Remember this is purely based on my opinion and shouldn't be seen negatively because at the end of the day everyone is entitled to have their own, I am forever trying to promote the Hallyu wave in my own way that I know (writing) because I truly love South Korea.
